1. What PulpIQ Is
PulpIQ is a self-serve analytics tool that analyzes cafe sales data to provide insights about revenue, product performance, and waste patterns. You upload your POS export data and receive analysis reports.
2. What PulpIQ Is Not
PulpIQ is not a financial advisor, accountant, or business consultant. The analysis, projections, and recommendations provided are informational estimates only. They are based on your sales data combined with industry-average cost assumptions and should not be treated as financial advice or guaranteed outcomes.
You are solely responsible for any business decisions you make based on PulpIQ's analysis. We strongly recommend verifying any significant operational changes with your own cost data and business knowledge.
3. Savings Estimates
Savings projections shown in reports are estimates based on:
- Your actual sales data (quantities, prices, dates)
- Toronto, Canada industry-average ingredient costs
- Standard assumptions about ordering patterns (detailed on our How We Calculate page)
Actual savings will vary based on your specific supplier costs, your current ordering practices, local market conditions, and how you choose to implement changes. PulpIQ does not guarantee any specific level of savings.
4. Your Data
What we store: Your email address, cafe name, and the analysis results from each CSV you upload. We process your CSV to extract analysis results, then discard the raw file. We do not store your raw CSV data.
What we don't do: We never sell, share, or provide your data to third parties. Your business data is yours.
Deletion: You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing hello@trypulp.co with the subject "Delete my account." We will remove your account, all analysis results, and any associated data within 7 business days and confirm deletion by email. If you have an active subscription, it will be cancelled automatically.
5. Your Account
You access PulpIQ via email-based magic links. You are responsible for maintaining access to your email account. We are not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from compromised email accounts.
6. Accuracy
The quality of your analysis depends on the quality of your data. If your CSV contains errors, incomplete records, or unusual data patterns, the analysis may produce inaccurate results. PulpIQ validates data on upload and flags common issues, but cannot guarantee the accuracy of analysis based on problematic source data.
7. Limitation of Liability
PulpIQ is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PulpIQ and its founders shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the service or reliance on its analysis.
Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which may be $0 if you are on the free tier).
8. Service Availability
We aim to keep PulpIQ available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll note the update date at the top of this page. Continued use of PulpIQ after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
